Are you looking for a new challenge in 2023?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Great Academies Education Trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, organised, and confident IT technician. We support and service the IT function across 3 secondary schools and 1 primary school.

You will become an integral part of an expanding and progressive organisation and be a key contributor to the support and maintenance of the trust IT provision, which in turn will support the continued delivery of an outstanding education to our students.

You will have flexibility in your approach to work, mainly working between the central office and our schools. There will also be opportunity to work from home where diaries allow.

About the role

  • To support the delivery of the consistent performance of all IT systems and provision of high- quality customer service in line with agreed standards of service delivery
  • To support the management and maintenance of IT systems, services, and resources for safe and effective use by pupils and staff, remotely and in person across the trust
  • To contribute to the development of IT and its use across the trust
  • To ensure that IT facilities at all times are fully functional and secure
  • To work in line with best practice Standard Operating Procedures and ensure processes and procedures are followed at all times
