Position Overview & Specifications
- To assist the Offender Health Nursing Team in the provision of nursing care and support to
- To work as part of the Health & Justice Primary Care Nursing Team in providing specific care and monitoring to patients in the secure setting as written in the care plan.
- To work alone and unsupervised and the ability to work autonomously.
- To be responsible for the ordering of clinical supplies for the department.
- To work in accordance with Trust Policies and Procedures.
- To maintain high standards of personal hygiene adhering to Health and Safety Guidelines and Infection Control Guidelines within the Trust.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality basic nursing care to patients.
Assisting in care planning, blood taking, ECG's, Wound Care, prison reception screening and assisting with medical clinics.
Further training opportunities will be available. The candidate will be expected to work successfully within a multidisciplinary team.
