Job description

We are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic candidate to join our dispatch team. The role involves coordinating between sales and dispatch, organising and processing sales orders in an efficient manner. Our warehouse team will rely on this individual for accurate stock information & delivery schedules, to ensure orders are organized in a logical sequence. The operations of our delivery service are prone to last minute changes; therefore, we require an individual who can quickly respond and adapt to a busy working environment, whilst remaining professional at all times. The working day for this individual will be split between working upstairs in the main office, and downstairs in the dispatch office daily. The dispatch office is attached to our loading bay, where all orders will be processed.

Other duties will involve arranging deliveries from our third-party storage facility, administering daily checks for our BRCGS accreditation, preparing driver delivery notes, liaising with drivers, ordering staff PPE, scanning & filing documents, answering the telephone and taking messages.

The candidates must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a professional telephone manner as a bare minimum.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
