Position Overview & Specifications

We are on the looking out for a Visual Merchandising and Design Assistant to join our team. You'll be working closely with our Senior Visual Merchandising and Display Manager to ensure a high level of visual merchandising and marketing activations across our stores.

You'll need to be a strong communicator as you'll be working with other key stakeholders across the business to execute the vision of the Senior Visual Merchandising and Display Manager. You'll also be coordinating with the Marketing team to support with the execution of all promotional strategies and marketing activity.

This isn't your average office job and a large part of your time will be spent in our stores ensure , that brand guidelines are met and maintained to highest standard. Therefore, our ideal candidate will have retail store based Visual Merchandising experience.

Main responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising, Display & Point of Sale

· Ensure product is merchandised and displayed in line with brand guidelines and to the highest standard.

· Educate and coach in store teams to enable to provide attractive yet commercial product layouts.

· Liaise regularly with the Store Management team regarding floor and fixture layouts providing regular feedback to achieve excellent commercial product presentation and promoting brand awareness.

· Assist in the development, production, installation, and maintenance of window displays and in store treatments and themes in line with the brand guidelines.

· Liaise with prop-makers and other contractors to ensure the correct delivery of projects in line with brand guidelines.

· End to End advisory support on new projects relevant to the role including input on initial concept, overseeing manufacture and installation.

· Monitor Point of Sale across all stores to ensure that it is correct, in line brand guidelines and to the highest standard.

Financial Management

· Communicate directly with suppliers when required regarding costs and deadlines.

· Monitor and track budgets on a regular basis to avoid surpassing budget.

· Operate within agreed budgets, communicating when required with suppliers and negotiating competitive costs.

Main requirements

· Sales floor experience.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, there may be requirement to work outside of normal office hours on occasion.
