Dog Walker-MUST have a full driving license

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A FULL DRIVERS LICENSE

Job 1 - Monday, Thursday & Friday with alternate Saturdays possible and possible extra hours for sickness and holiday cover

The days are 4-5 hours after the training period. Only having availability in the evenings on these days will not be suitable for these jobs as our core work is during daylight hours.

you will be visiting animals and collecting from their homes in company vehicle. the job begins with a 1 month trial period where the candidate will undergo paid training . upon successful completion of the trial period, the candidate will be able to walk 4-5 dogs on and off lead and be comfortable navigating their way around driving to and from customer locations and walking destinations. candidates are out in all weathers and will be expected to use initiative to actively manage profit and loss aspects of their performance such as driving styles for fuel reduction to cut the environmental and financial impact, and route planning to avoid traffic and cut travel time.

candidates will be expected to be flexible with which animals they may spend time with and must actively engage with the animals to gain trust and respect. we do handle animals of all sizes and behaviours so please think about your ability to do this when applying. this job can be both gruelling and hugely rewarding, the knowledge that you are giving them their best life and their happy , unbiased faces every day make it all worth while!
