Fixed term Mothers help role in Colden Common, SO21

This family are looking for a Mother help to support them for around 4 months. They have a 2 year old son and will have a 3 week old baby, at the start of the role. They are looking for someone 2 or 3 days a week. They can be flexible on the days worked however, ideally would like it to include a Monday and a Friday, 8am to 4pm. This will be a shared care position, dad also works from home.

They are looking for a Mother help who is experienced and compassionate; someone friendly and kind, who can use their initiative.

Duties to include but not be limited to playing with the young baby, taking them out for walks or potentially attending classes/groups. As well as helping with running the home with light housework, shopping, laundry and ad hoc errands. This will enable mum to be able to spend time with her new-born baby. Their son will be at nursery, although there may also be some occasional care of him.

The family have a cleaner, so no deep cleaning is required. They would love someone who is confident and enjoys cooking, who will prepare meals for the family during this busy time.

They are looking for an Ofsted registered self employed Nanny, to help them on a short term fixed contract for several months. The perfect candidate will be kind, easy going and have experience with a similar type of role with a new-born baby.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of two years professional Nannying and baby experience essential

Details of any training needed for this job: Paediatric first aid

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Formal childcare experience essential

Hours of work: 8am to 4pm

Days required: 2 or 3 days a week (ideally including a Monday and Friday)

Pets in the home: No pets

Driving required: Driver required with own car

Job Start Date: 4thApril 2023

Job End Date: 31st July 2023

Pay: £15 gross per hour.

This is a permanent long-term job.
