We are looking for a Sandwich Assistant to join our vibrant night shift restaurant team based at our Head Office in Enderby, Leicester!
A Sandwich Assistant is responsible for the production of all Sandwiches, Rolls, Panini,
Toasties and Rustic bread selection supplied daily to site. You will follow ingredient recipes for all goods produced to ensure allergen control and support the team with a variety of
Tasks.
This is a full time night shift position / 36 hours per week.
The working hours are Sunday - Thursday 11.45pm - 7.30am.
About the role:
● Provide the daily selection of sandwiches and full range for coffee shops and
● juice bar
● Follow ingredient recipes to produce all goods
● Replenishment of stock for sale in stock rotation
● Take receipt of deliveries on arrival
● Food safety and allergen control during production and packaging
● Cleaning duties and data sheet completion to E.H.O guidelines
● The disposal of all food waste
● Communicate requirements regarding product availability to food buyers
● Assist others in helping resolve workflow problems
● Prioritise own work to make sure that deadlines are met
● Make decisions within your own area and know when to seek advice from others
About you:
● Have a passion for catering
● Have experience within catering or hospitality
● Be a strong communicator and show attention to detail
● Demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to change
● Communicate easily and accurately with others
● Have organisational skills
● Show a willingness to accept a change in a role or situation, as an opportunity to
