Require an Assistant Laboratory Technician at its site in Willingham, Cambridge.

Assistants will perform all aspects of production and support the Laboratory manager to ensure deadlines are met. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong work ethic, follow SOP’s with meticulous detail, accurate record keeping, a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and individually.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
* Ability to follow procedures
* Lab hygiene, cleanliness and biosecurity
* High level of accuracy
* Precise record keeping
* Taking phone calls & Assisting the Orderline
* Files and Systems kept up to date
* IT skills
* Willingness to train and develop
* Support the Laboratory Manager
* Communicate with the general manager, lab manager, team and head office

Previous lab experience an advantage but full training will be provided. Good IT skills and interpersonal skills are essential. More generally - enthusiasm, flexibility.
Days of work - Monday (6am - 4:30pm), Tuesday (8am-12pm), Thursday (7am-2pm), Friday (6am -3pm) and Saturday (6am - 4:30pm). Car driver essential due to remote location.

Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
