Care Worker (Full Training Provided)

Care Workers required to travel to the homes of our clients in Derby and the surrounding area.

This role could be suitable for students, school-age parents, semi-retired and anyone who genuinely enjoys looking after others!

Our staffing team continues to expand and we truly appreciate the hard work and dedication that our frontline carers bring to their job of caring and providing relief for many families.

This role is flexible which means it can be worked around existing family commitments, and study for example.

Pay rates will be dependent on the level of experience/number of years in care worked

• £9.00 to £11.00 per hour
• Rates will go up after supervision/reviews depending on performance

This is a fantastic opportunity whether you are new to care or you have years of experience.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be prepared to travel between homes
• Must have access to transport
• Must be willing to work a high-standard
• Must be willing to undergo all training
• Must be prepared to go through job shadowing

***Mileage paid at 35ppm***

Duties will vary depending on the level of care required and at which level you are trained but we have included some day-to-day duties:

• Mobility Assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Bath/shower assistance
• Conversation and companionship
• Teeth brushing
• Preparing nutritious meals/feeding
• Housework and laundry
• Grocery shopping
• Completing paperwork

Your role is important because:

You will bring peace of mind to family members, provide companionship, and support your clients to live independently. You'll ensure they are safe and raise any concerns regarding their health.

Who Your clients/service users may be…?

You may support a wide range of people. Some may suffer from short term illness or longer-term medical conditions. Some of your clients may have come out of hospital and require temporary care to help them get back on their feet. Some of your clients may have Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, and some may have more complex needs.

You must be committed and enjoy what you do. You should be responsible and able to work independently, but also work well with others and be able to take and follow instruction without any conflict.
