Bar/Reception Manager - Crew Leader - MOXY Glasgow Merchant City

This position is based on a full time contract.

Gross Salary - £26000 per year

Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role.

Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and responsibilities

• Providing the best service to maintain excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
• Improving service through communicating well with the team and assisting individuals to understand guest needs.
• Helping guests and creating positive experiences
• Managing guest payments accurately
• Managing hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
• Supporting other Crew Members with Front Office training
• Promoting the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
• Handling guest problem and complaints effectively

Other duties include:

• Helping the F&B department on shift when required
• Operating Food & Beverage the Moxy way
• Preparing food, maintaining clean, tidy, work area restocking, taking deliveries and organizing BOH areas
• Following all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies.

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
• Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
• Great motivator who can coach and support the team

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 2 year of Hospitality Experience
• Knowledge of Hotel Operating System Opera
• At least 1 year in a Managerial role

Useful Experience

• Knowledge of other hotel systems such Micros
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
• Personal experience of travel and travel industry
