HOURGLASS COSMETICS – Influencer Marketing Manager, UK & EU (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Following its debut at Barneys New York, Hourglass has expanded into Bergdorf Goodman, Sephora, Nordstrom, and Space NK in the US and 1000 doors worldwide. In this role, you will help to drive the UK & EU region in developing and delivering, innovative influencer marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, inspire consumer engagement, and maximize commercial impact. You will act as an ambassador for the brand, expanding the regional brand presence and building exceptional partnerships with key influencers, agencies, and retailers. This position requires experience managing talent and influencer campaigns across the UK and Europe, as well as being a total social media enthusiast, with a working knowledge of key platforms.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, integrated marketer, who is agile, and self-starting. The role requires a blend of brand, communications, digital marketing experience. Diligent project management, and ability to self-prioritize is critical to achieve deadlines, while maintaining unparalleled attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential. You will report directly to the Executive Director Marketing & Communications UK & EMEA

WHAT YOU DO

  • Develop creative distribution and marketing plans for talent and influencer activations.
  • Identify new ways of approaching digital creator programs, with a focus on those who have and maintain a growing audience across key social media and video streaming channels
  • Build, nurture and grow long term relationships with agencies, talent, and influencers (across TT, YT &, IG)
  • Partner closely with local and global comms team on influencer strategy and outreach for the region – identifying tastemakers across contextual verticals and ensure relevant content and execution, e.g. art, fashion, Travel, Beauty
  • Partner with UK Ecommerce team, providing local insight, digital media best practices, and general support
  • Manage all sponsored content and influencer campaigns, including contracts and best practice
  • Manage local Influencer partners and distribution of mailers
  • Manage end to end influencer event activations
  • Track and analyse marketing campaigns, and overall brand performance, ensuring key insights and learnings are identified for future go-to-market strategy
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience within a luxury / global brand, agency, or retail environment
  • Commercial experience gained in a fast-paced luxury / online retail environment with proven experience of driving sales with a brand and revenue / ROAS focus
  • Self-starter
  • Positivity under pressure
  • Strong industry and cultural awareness
  • Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team
  • Familiarity with building brands within UK & EUROPE region and strong understanding of necessary execution plans
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Must be an excellent communicator, natural networker, team player and highly organized
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and forward thinking
  • Analytical, with experience tracking and reporting marketing campaigns and performance
  • Background in innovative, fast-paced startups or indie brands is a plus
