Parcelforce collection and delivery driver

Are you looking for a seasonal driving role? we are looking for Delivery Drivers to join Parcelforce during the busiest time of the year. at this time the role is for 4 weeks

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for helping to sort mail, make deliveries and collections on time and on your pre-planned route. You will be representing Parcelforce, so we are looking for friendly people with great customer service skills.

Parcelforce is one of the UK's most trusted and loved brands, and you'll play a vital role on helping to deliver across the nation.

Shift patterns:

• 50 hours a week

• Working 5 days of the week across Monday to Saturday various shifts available

• Overtime is available if required

Flexibility is required around start and finish times as you may need to start slightly earlier or finish later than your shift.

What skills and experience should you have?

• Experience of driving a 3.5t delivery van is preferred, but it's not essential

• A 'can do' approach and be confident working to tight deadlines

• Ability to lift and load parcels weighing up to 30kg

• Experience in a customer facing role is preferred, but it's not essential

Pay: £10.42

Benefits:

Driving licence requirements must have held full UK driving licence for more than 6 months

A full UK manual driving licence is required with no more than 6 penalty points, but a clean licence is preferred. Please note, you will be required to show your licence (showing your current UK address) at your assessment.
