Position Overview & Specifications

A bit about the role.

London’s most sustainable and affordable ebike is looking for a friendly, hardworking, allround great content and social media whiz who helps to build, grow and manage our ever growing community of followers and riders. This is a super exciting opportunity to join a disruptive startup through an exciting period of growth and to build a community around the brand.

The chosen candidate will work directly with the senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive content and social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and rider acquisition. You will be responsible for managing the brand social media presence across various platforms and executing creative campaigns to drive awareness and rider adoption.

This is a full-time role


Your key responsibilities include:

1. Build, create and execute a social media and content plan that will increase our brand awareness, engagement rates, positive sentiment and overall ridership.

2. Create boundary-pushing, ATTENTION-GRABBING social content using the latest affordances on each channel. You’ll create your own REELS, Lives, TikTok and Shorts

3. Collaborate with our inhouse design team to bring your ideas to life.

4. Manage and deliver the day-to-day calendar of activity across all central social media platforms and content across blog/editorial, user generated content, and email.

5. Track the performance of activity to be able to build a picture of how our organic channels support business and brand objectives and be able to make improvements where necessary

6. Community management of central channels to make sure all of our followers get timely responses. You’ll be the go-to for social, advising the team and wider business on best practice.

Who you are:

  • You’re a social media expert
  • You love creating content and are active on social media yourself
  • You’re a whiz with your phone and can make world-class content using just your phone camera
  • You love the HumanForest brand and cycling.
  • You have experience with direct to consumer brands.
  • You’re that person in your friendship group who ALWAYS gets asked to take the photos
  • You love writing and are confident with social captions and responding to our community directly
  • You’re naturally curious and want to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to the table
  • You’ve got experience using social schedulers and apps that help you manage the day-to-day of running social accounts and reporting.
  • A great communicator
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role

Bonuses but not essential:

  • You have previously worked in a startup environment.
  • You know how to use Figma.
