We are currently seeking a talented Packaging Artworker with 3+ years’ of experience in retail packaging artwork. Joining a successful and well-established trend-led business, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse design concepts and artwork packaging for leading UK retailers and worldwide.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, experience working with cutter guides and brand guidelines, the ability to create print-ready artwork, and expertise in proofreading and checking artwork for print. You will collaborate closely with the design team and other departments across the business.
Key responsibilities for this Artworker role:
- Create print-ready artwork based on provided design concepts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Thoroughly proofread and check artwork for print, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
- Collaborate effectively with the design team and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.
- Lay out back-of-pack information, including hazard warnings and barcodes, demonstrating expertise in this area.
- Contribute to concept design stages as required.
- Supporting the design team with ad-hoc requirements
Experience required for this Artworker role:
- Proficient in Mac operating systems.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and preferably Dimension.
- Familiarity with cutter guides and basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging design with a portfolio to showcase examples of work
- Proficient in artwork layout techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, diligence, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for the field and eagerness to learn.
- Adaptive mindset to handle evolving requirements.
- Collaborative nature as a valuable team player.
