If so, IMAPCT CRC have an amazing career opportunity within our new Children's home. We are currently looking for support workers who are keen, enthusiastic to work within the childcare sector and are looking for career progression. IMPACT CRC are dedicated to motivating, developing, creating opportunities and enhancing life skills for children and young people to allow positive outcomes in a homely environment.
Your role will be to ensure the day to day running of the home and for the delivery of the day-to-day care for the children we look after. In your role you will be working directly with the children and be part of assisting the staff team to meet the quality-of-care standards set out by the Children's home Regulation 2015 and work in line the companies' policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking an active part in the day to day running of the home
- to be an active member of the residential care staff team for the home
- To maintain the development of positive childcare practice in keeping with the aims and objectives of the home.
- To provide a safe, warm and supportive environment to our children and young people
- To be involved in the implementation of care plans
- Keep up to date records in the home and complete reports when required
- When in the home ensure and on shift ensure you conduct yourself within the guidelines of the establishment
- To promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the home
- To participate in general activities in the home
- Use and utilise your personal skills you must maximise outcomes foreach child and young person
- Building trusting and professional relationships with the children and young people
- Work in partnership with social workers and other professionals
- Ensure and monitor the health and safety of the home
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and report directly to the home manager.

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
