Your qualifications, including CIPS Level 5, IoSCM Level 5, and/or a Supply Chain Management degree, validate your commitment to professional growth and development.

Your Role:

As our Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing company's success. You will be responsible for streamlining procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and reducing costs. By leveraging your expertise, you will negotiate favourable terms with suppliers, analyse supply chain data, and implement logistics strategies to drive operational excellence. Your comprehensive understanding of risk management within the supply chain will be crucial to maintaining smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Review and update supply chain practices to align with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices.
  • Implement logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to our manufacturing facility.
  • Analyse supply chain data, proactively identify and address issues, and develop alternative plans when necessary.
  • Minimise risk by accurately predicting product demand and adopting new technologies seamlessly.
  • Manage inventory, packing, and distribution processes efficiently.
  • Develop safety guidelines, train employees, and enforce protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Provide supervision and training to team members.
  • Negotiate new long-term partnerships for key supply chain requirements.
