About the Director of FinOps role

InfiniteCFO is disrupting the provision of FinOps in growth companies and this role is pivotal in meeting that objective. Working with the leadership team, you will lead the development of our FinOps service, ensuring that it is best in class, delighting our clients by utilising a combination of leading technologies and processes, and implementing these across our client delivery teams.

You will be based in our London office, with the flexibility to travel to our other office locations and attend client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Have a deep understanding of client and market as well as internal requirements, creating practical capability for the service offering to ensure we exceed client expectations.

  • Deep understanding of the available leading technologies and methodologies as well as continuous horizon scanning for potential future developments.
  • Focus on the adoption of new capabilities across the client service teams, ensuring the successful roll-out of new technologies and methodologies as well as seeking feedback to improve future implementations.
  • Involvement in the scoping of prospect proposals, looking for ways to apply the experience and capabilities used across our clients to prospects and to ‘productise’ these solutions.
  • Build relationships with our key vendors in order to influence their product roadmaps and development.
  • Map the competitor landscape, benchmarking our capabilities against those of our competitors, identifying threats and opportunities that can be adopted or exploited.
  • Continuously review the success of the technologies and methodologies employed, refining or replacing as required to maintain our high standards.
  • Oversee quality control and assurance, ensuring high standards of delivery across our FinOps client teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a finance/accountancy background being advantageous.
  • Experience of working as a Business Analyst or Product Manager within a SaaS business, preferably in the accounting or business application sector.
  • Knowledge of business applications, such as accounting packages and their associated ecosystems.
  • Good understanding of managing product roadmaps and the product lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

About You

  • Intellectually strong with a problem solving, curious approach.
  • You are hands on with an attitude that no task is too small for you.
  • Strong, robust personality, capable of responding thoughtfully when challenged.
  • Agility and pace together with an ability to work and make decisions in an ambiguous, changing environment.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships across the business and our partners.
  • You are a team player who is compassionate, friendly and always seeks to empower and learn from others.
  • You are organised, have excellent time management skills and know what key priorities you need to focus on.
