What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Copywriter to join our SEO & Ecommerce team. As a Senior SEO Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling and optimised content that drives organic traffic, engages audiences, and supports overall marketing objectives within different industries. Your expertise in search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques, keyword research, and content strategy will be essential in improving client websites our website's visibility and increasing organic rankings. The ideal candidate is a creative wordsmith with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and a proven track record of delivering high-quality engaging content.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • You will be providing world-class service to our customers and are expected to help grow our SEO & eCommerce portfolios by producing memorable content which helps both visibility and conversion.
  • Create engaging and persuasive copy for various digital platforms, including website pages, blog posts, social media when required, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensuring that all activities have positive results with a high SERP status (Ranking for high volume keywords) per account.
  • Creating content plans and strategies for client accounts
  • Communicate regularly with our clients
  • Creating content plans and strategies for our own website
  • Ensure all content is optimised for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and other SEO best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior copywriters, offering feedback and support to improve their writing skills and SEO knowledge.
  • Conduct regular content audits and performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in Managing a list of SEO Clients against team KPIs (This involves generating SEO reports to clients an attending meetings)
  • Ensure that work is completed within time and budget
  • Adding new products on Shopify and optimising them for search
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify relevant, high-traffic keywords for content optimisation.
  • Working/liaising with other departments and members of the digital SEO team to meet monthly targets.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an SEO Copywriter or similar role, demonstrating a successful track record of improving organic rankings and increasing website traffic.

In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimisation techniques.

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy for various digital platforms.

Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHREFS, SURF SEO or Moz, to conduct keyword research, analyze website performance, and track SEO metrics.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging SEO techniques.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Package and Benefits

  • 40 hours per week
