Junior Developer – £30K – £35K – Hybrid / London – Excellent Career Progression + Benefits
Overview:
A technology focused commodities company are looking for a junior developer (.Net / Angular) to join one of their award winning platform teams. Whilst starting out for the first 12-18 months you will be involved in application support and cypress testing before advancing into software development responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is analytically driven with an interest in coding and wants to kick start their career in the IT sector or someone in similar industry sector looking for a career change with a passion for technology and a desire to develop your technical knowledge and experience along the way.
Technology is at the forefront of this company, any piece of new tech that is released into the Microsoft or Open Source market; they’ll work with it if it helps them reach their end goals.
- Assist in achieving QA transformation targets
- Take ownership of testing an application when assigned
- Career progression to Mid/Senior Developer, Solution Architect, Project Manager, DevOps and Data Science Roles
- Desire to specialise in specific technology areas, e.g. Front-end UI/UX, back-end API services, databases, deployment and system configuration
- Collaborate with business users, the development team and wider teams of the business
- Develop and maintain internally developed business systems
- Duties will vary and be revised due to the nature of the IT Support environment (the above is a guide and not a comprehensive list of responsibilities)
- Angular, C#
- Data: SQL Server, TSQL, JSON, GIS Spatial
- On-Premises and Azure Cloud data centres
- BitBucket Git, TeamCity Build and CI, Octopus Deploy, JIRA Issue Tracking
- £30K – £35K (Depending on the level of experience)
