Your day to day

This is a rotating placement within our Global Corporate Affairs team, offering experience across Corporate Responsibility, Communications, and Public Affairs. You will be providing support with the delivery of the Corporate Responsibility and wider Communications agenda. Ideally you will be available from September 2023 to August 2024.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage specialised project work within given timescales
  • Assist in reviewing/proof-reading copy, sustainability data and assessing trends
  • Conduct research on best practices in Corporate Responsibility
  • Support the Global Communications press office
  • General support work for Communications including internal, external, owner, sustainability, editorial and public affairs
  • Assist in drafting/proofing documents/internal stories/social media posts
  • Assist in updating team folders/setting up team meetings/taking meeting notes

What we need from you

  • Completing/completed a degree in a relevant discipline (Corporate Responsibility, Business or Communications would be an advantage)
  • Evidence of interest in sustainability, communities, climate change and the environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Numerate
  • Good communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, a team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Interest in corporate communications
  • Audience focused with good working knowledge of different markets and awareness of cultural nuances
