Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Assistant Artist Manager to join our talented team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our artist managers and directly contribute to our artists’ career success. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with industry professionals and make a significant impact in the music world.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Artist Managers to ensure effective planning and execution of artist development strategies.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing artists’ schedules, including rehearsals, performances, and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to maximise artists’ exposure and reach.
  • Support artists in their creative endeavours, providing guidance, feedback, and resources to facilitate their growth and artistic development.
  • Liaise with record labels, booking agents, publicists, and other industry professionals to facilitate collaborations and partnerships for artists.
  • Conduct thorough market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify new opportunities for artists.
  • Assist artist manager in contract negotiations, budget management, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective artist management.

About You:

  • A genuine passion for music and a deep understanding of the music industry and/or performing arts.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to further build relationships with artists and industry professionals
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in managing schedules, contracts, and other important documents.
  • Proactive and adaptable nature to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A professional and ethical approach to artist management.
  • An authentically positive approach to life.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Previous experience in client-facing artist management, music promotion, or related roles.
  • Strong familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of music licensing, copyright laws, and contracts.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and explore innovative approaches to artist development.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. (MS, Google, Adobe etc)
