Role purpose

In the heart of City, London, our Retail team has an exciting project with a blue chip client for a high value office fit out. Located a stone's throw away from several transport links, you will be part of a team shaping the financial district of London.

The role of the Assistant PM will be to ensure the project delivery runs smoothly and satisfies our customer and meets the Companies requirements, all while contributing to the growth of the business by building relationships, maximising repeat business and actively seeking market opportunities

Key accountabilities

Responsibility for delivery and quality in line with customer and company expectations.
Understand the status of the project at all times and escalate any significant delivery risks.
Work with and support all members of the Delivery team and wider community to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, budget and to the expected quality.
To ensure full compliance with all Company HSQE standards, policies, processes, ISO accreditations and legislative requirements
Identify and maintain good working relationships with all the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
Manage existing client relationships to ensure an excellent client experience is maintained.
Implement and maintain quality assurance methods/standards to assure delivery of projects.
Create site logistic plans, programming and standard site documentation.
Manage cost expenditure in close association with the site team.
Create working relationships with other Project Managers
To manage the communication of day to day site information.

Skills & experience

Construction awareness ideally within fast-paced Retail or Banking environment
Project management and planning experience in similar organisation
Demonstrable sound construction technical and legislative knowledge
SMSTS/IOSH
CSCS
RAMS awareness
First Aid
Working at Height
Asbestos Awareness
Occupational Health awareness.
