We have an opportunity for a Production Technician join a well-established global business, based here on the Isle of Wight to carry out general construction and repair of company products meeting quality standards and timescales.

Remuneration is dependent on experience however the package on offer is in keeping and above of with what would be expected at this level to ensure we attract the highest calibre of candidates.

Key Duties:

• To produce company products in line with quality processes
• To test, both mechanically and electrically, products.
• To strain gauge products to company requirements.
• To undertake wiring and cable assembly
• To undertake PCB assembly
• To work with the Production Manager on completing build tasks to commercial requirements of the business.
• To work with the Production Team on achieving high quality standards and meeting production deadlines.

Tasks:

• To complete tasks or duties assigned by the Production Co-Ordinator to timescales and information provided
• To construct and test company products
• To report and highlight any incorrect or missing information in relation to product build
• To promptly indicate if a given timescale cannot be met
