About us
We're a busy, small animal single site practice, providing the highest level of Veterinary care, whilst always striving to achieve excellent client service through clear and effective communication with a compassionate approach. We have a wonderful, super friendly team of 3 Vets along with our team of Registered and Trainee Student Nurses, as well as our dedicated Receptionist and Support team. We also have 1 part time Cardiologist.

We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, dedicated theatre suite and separate kennels and cattery, we strive to be a supportive team with clear and effective communication, we have regular practice meetings we're we encourage our team members to discuss cases and any ideas that they may have.

We are close to the sea, with a long promenade, and the local town has many historic sites, outdoor activities, and a variety of independent restaurants with a strong café culture. There is a thriving arts scene, and several festivals are held each year, including seafood and wine, Jack in the Green festival, the famous bonfire night parade and the annual Mayday motorbike ride, when thousands of bikes descend on the town.

About the role
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week. Mon to Fri between 8:30am and 7pm. You may also be required to participate in a Saturday rota.

We welcome Vets with a range of experience at 1066. We have embedded a supportive culture at 1066, allowing for investment in our employee's skill set and specific interests through further study, clinical case exposure and training.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a new Graduate Veterinary Surgeon, eligible to register with the RCVS.
