Position: Accounts Payable Clerk
Term: Permanent, Full Time
Reports to: Senior Accountant, EMEA

Jakks produces action figures, electronics, dolls, dress-up, role play, Halloween costumes, kids' furniture, vehicles, plush, seasonal products, infant/preschool, and construction toys sold under various proprietary brands. Jakks is a licensee of many trademarks including Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers and Nintendo.

The Role
- Daily processing of purchase invoices for the UK and EMEA businesses
- Check approval of each invoice to a JAKKS purchase order, and seek manager approval
- Ensure invoices are approved in time to meet the weekly payment run
- Collation of weekly payment runs with Treasury team
- Prepare monthly statement reconciliations for key suppliers
- Resolve supplier queries
- Assist with setting up new suppliers
- Monitor the AP email inbox on a daily basis
- Assist with the month-end accruals and AP reconciliation
- Assist with the annual audit
- Forecast supplier payments for cash flow
- Review employee expenses in preparation of the annual P11D
- Identify improvements to the Accounts Payable process
Experience
- Background working within a finance team, preferably Accounts Payable
- Competent knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, including the use of functions VLOOKUP and Pivot Table.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to and build positive relationships at all levels

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Bracknell: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
