Clayton Park Bakery is a manufacturing and distribution company providing bakery products such as pies, sausage rolls, pasties, quiches, fresh cakes and sandwiches to numerous outlets across the North West, including Booths supermarkets and football clubs such as Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool and Everton. Clayton Park Bakery also run a van sales operation across the North West.

More About the Role
To work within a multi skilled team of bakery assistants to manufacture our range of savoury products producing quality bakery items maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction currently being achieved.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
  • Producing various bakery products.
  • Set up and run machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products to set specifications.
  • Manufacture safe, quality food by following all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards and working practices.
  • General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas.
  • Moving equipment such as trolleys and racks safely
  • Adheres to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products.

A Few Things About You
  • To be a positive and organised individual
  • Experience of working within a similar role is desirable
  • Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be given.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated.
  • Have a positive outlook and enjoy working as part of a team, leading by example.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others.
  • Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which includes Bank Holidays.
