What you will be doing...

Charter & Airline Sales Support Executive, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.

As part of the Sales and Planning team, our Charter & Airline Sales Support Executive will Take Responsibility for ensuring that sales activity is delivered and implemented as required by ensuring that all operational and customer requirements are met.

What will you do in the role?
Our Charter & Airline Sales Support Executive will provide operational support for the department by ensuring that all allocation, charter and group key account contracts are delivered to a VIP standard to required deadlines and in accordance with operational requirements. You will also:-
  • Assist with the management of existing charter and allocation contracts and key account groups, being a focal point for the department for all client queries and to provide all necessary pre-flight support
  • Working with key internal departments such as Ground Operations, Cabin Services, Customer Services and Legal Services to ensure that all customer requirements are delivered in a compliant and timely manner and to assist with any departmental queries where required
  • Liaise with the wider Planning team to attain necessary slots and traffic right permissions for charter and allocation programmes. Manage client programme checks and communicate schedule changes to customers where necessary
  • Monitor allocation and charter daily flying programmes, attend daily Operational briefings and feed back to customers when disruption occurs
  • Issue external and internal pre-flight briefing documentation in a concise and timely manner
  • Set up aircraft handling for all charter flights and work closely with Ground Operations and our stations/handing agents regarding any special requirements
  • Oversee charter flight departures and flight ride charter flights to ensure agreed standards are delivered
  • Discuss and agree catering requirements with customers for all charter flights, collaborating with Supply Chain to facilitate the requests
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure that fuel supply has been requested and confirmed for all charter flights
  • Attend weekly meetings with Travel Services to ensure all charter flight HOTAC requirements have been arranged
  • Maintain the Charter Management system (CMS) which is the system responsible for transmitting charter flight PNLs. Create new flights, update airport DCS information and monitor PNL transmissions.

What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?

Our Charter & Airline Sales Support Executive will be a team player with excellent leadership skills, you excel with a positive mindset and are supportive towards your colleagues. You know how to delegate work and to improve productivity. You will also: -
  • Have an understanding of Airline Operations
  • Willingness to travel
  • Account management/customer service experience preferred
  • Be patient and resilient
  • Have a hands-on approach and good problem-solving skills; you can think on your feet to come up with proactive solutions
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at a time with the ability to prioritise where required. You can deal with challenging interactions under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • IT literate and well versed with MS Office software such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and PowerPoint as a minimum
  • Previous Aviation or Travel Industry commercial experience is an advantage
