Mott MacDonald Bentley - Placement Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor at JN Bentley, you will take responsibility for the commercial aspect of construction projects from conception to design, construction and completion of projects.

While on your placement you will work closely with sub-contractors to ensure that all needs of a project are met to a high standard. You will also effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders to ensure minimising costs and maximising values are received.

On your placement year at JN Bentley will:

• Manage all costs relating to projects
• Agree and report final accounts on both the financial and contractual status of schemes
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture – through the production of critical designs, health and safety documentation, O&M manuals and commissioning plans

• Working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred
• We are keen to review applications from individuals that are organised, excellent with numbers and have keen interest for the inner workings of civil engineering and construction projects
