Position Overview & Specifications

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create standard operating procedures (SOP's), training packs and other training materials to help support the delivery of training sessions.

  • Develop and deliver an engaging induction for John Lewis and Agency Partners

  • Support the site to deliver their operational training objectives through reviewing and auditing materials, creating new training resources in line with SOPs.

  • Deliver manual handling training in a safe manner, inline with Pristine Condition principles.

  • Deliver ladder training in a safe manner, inline with health and safety principles.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with operations and support teams to ensure effective communication.

  • Advertise and recruit applicants for the Partners Who Train (PWTs) programme.

  • Develop and deliver our “Train the Trainer” course for PWTs.

  • Complete PWT observations against training criteria and coach and feedback to PWT and their Line Manager.

  • Review and improve all training materials on a periodic basis to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Create and deliver Partner Development workshops (Development team Training Coordinator).

  • Organise and facilitate Helping Hands to support peak.

  • Support operation during peak.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality keeping all files in compliance with the Data Protection Act.

  • Keep training matrices, databases and records up to date and clearly organised for accurate reporting of skill base and mandatory training.

  • Work effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team to deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders.

  • Provide and contribute to continual improvement initiatives for the team and site.

What you’ll need:

  • Good working knowledge of IT systems ( All Google programmes).

  • Ability to plan and prioritise daily and weekly tasks.

  • Previous experience of working successfully within a multi disciplinary team.

  • Passion for learning and developing self and others.

  • Operates with an attention to detail


What else you may bring:

  • Capable of covering other operations to provide support as required.

  • Previous experience of working within a logistics/supply chain environment.

  • Previous experience within a training or support function
