We are seeking a compassionate and reliable self-employed Live-In Carer to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own home. As a Live-In Carer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Administering medication as prescribed by the client's healthcare professional
- Preparing meals and ensuring the client has adequate nutrition and hydration
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Monitoring and managing any health conditions or concerns
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client
- Providing companionship and emotional support to the client
- Completing daily reports and maintaining accurate records of care provided
- Communicating regularly with the client's healthcare team and family members
Requirements:
- Experience in care-giving or a related field
- A compassionate and patient nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours and schedules
- Must be willing to provide live-in care for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
