Kitchen Assistant

Jungle Kingdom is a Kids' Indoor Play Area with a Cafe, based in North Swindon. We are open from 9.30-5.30 daily.

We are looking for a fun, organised, hard working person to join our team and assisting in our kitchen during busy weekends to prepare party food and simple panini's/ snacks.

In order to be considered for this exciting role you must:

· Work well under pressure

· Have 1+ years experience of working in a busy kitchen or cafe environment

· Be reliable and hard working

· Be a team player who can also demonstrate initiative

· Be capable of preparing, presenting and serving food to a high standard

· Ideally have previous experience of working in a busy kitchen

· Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate (Level 1) or equivalent

· Be able to deliver Jungle Kingdom's high operational standards

· Be able to work as part of the team and assist with serving in the Café, tidying tables and offering excellent customer service.

· Have a fun & flexible attitude to work

· A willingness to learn.

We are looking for someone to join the team who can assist during our busiest times. This is mainly Saturday & Sundays from 8:30am-2:30pm and during school holiday periods. This is the initial requirement. For the righ candidate more hours could be available in the future. We also close over Christmas, New Years Day and Easter Sunday.
