As our new Head of Global Communications & PR you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a global, integrated communications & PR strategy for kevin. that presents a consistent and compelling corporate narrative to relevant audiences in the UK and around the world across multiple channels
  • Supporting and acting as advisory on all leadership communications and, when appropriate, acting as the spokesperson for kevin.
  • Building relationships with senior leadership within the business and demonstrating how communications can support the wider business objectives
  • Build, lead and develop a dynamic team of PR and Comms experts who actively collaborate with relevant partners within and outside the organization
  • Identifying and planning strategic engagement with key stakeholders in the media in support of kevin.'s objectives
  • Overseeing responses to high-level media requests, press conferences, media lunches and interviews, and special events
  • Lead kevin.'s brand spokesperson strategy, ensuring regular media training and brand briefings for all
  • Developing and implementing where necessary a crisis communications and preparedness plan
  • Working alongside wider brand team to support business growth by proactively identifying and creating media, PR, social and content opportunities and campaigns that deliver against key metrics
  • Management of kevin.'s PR agencies, creating strong working relationships and managing KPI's

What you need to be successful:

  • Significant experience (10+ years) in a senior, global Communications & PR role, in-house or agency
  • Start-up/scale-up and fintech experience advantageous
  • A track record in managing an integrated corporate narrative in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, goals and regional contexts, empowering use of brand and its values
  • A track record of developing and delivering high profile, impactful and measurable communications messaging, plans and production from start to finish including evaluation
  • Extensive experience in shaping and devising media and social strategies
  • An audience-focused approach to communications with a demonstrable ability to adapt messages and methods and target specific groups
  • Experience of leading sensitive communications, placing safeguarding and stakeholder need at the centre
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strategic, highly organised and proactive self starter
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Passion for people management including the growth and development of teams
  • Experience in building and managing highly effective PR network
  • You will have a Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field

kevin.'s advanced A2A (account-to-account) payment infrastructure solution was created to swiftly change costly card payments to payments linked directly from customers' bank accounts without using any third-party providers. kevin.'s technology scales to businesses of any size and across industries, including retail, parking, fashion, car-sharing, deliveries, insurance and many more. kevin. focuses on mobile and POS payments where customers predominantly pay using cards currently. Its payment infrastructure is based on open banking – regulated by the European PSD2 Directive – which requires all banks and financial institutions in the European Economic Area to open their API for licensed third-party providers. kevin. develops only own connections to the banks without using any third-party aggregators.
