Position Overview & Specifications

Kingdom Cleaning have an excellent opportunity for a Cleaning Site Manager to join our established and successful team working across 2 sites in Manchester & Liverpool.

Where: Manchester M1 area & Liverpool L3 area.

When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts between 08.00 am - 21.00 pm.

Own transport required.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

Reporting into and supporting the Account Lead, the Site Manager will support the contract.

Manage 1 Supervisor responsible for 17 Cleaning Team Members and the full operational delivery across 2 separate site across Manchester and Liverpool.

Skills and Experience Required:

At least 3 years’ experience in the management of cleaning contracts.

  • Recognised health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH)
  • Commercially and contractually aware
  • Ability to work to and manage tight deadlines
  • Ability to take a flexible approach
  • Must be PC literate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible
  • Team orientated
  • Ability to manage people effectively
  • Good organiser
  • Presentable appearance.

Key Accountabilities / Main duties:

. Attending client monthly meeting

. Weekly Client Site walk around

  • Attending key contractual audits and developing action plans at all 2/3 sites
  • Assisting in the development of monitoring/audit systems for effective and timely resource delivery
  • Liaising with the Account Lead to ensure both reactive and proactive work is carried out without incurring service failures
  • Maintaining positive client relationships with all partners, engineering and support teams
  • Producing monthly financial/contract reports in readiness for submission as well as attending financial and contract reviews
  • Deputising for the Account Lead in their absence
  • Positively promoting Kingdom Cleaning Services as a FM business provider.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Kingdom Cleaning and Client policies and practices are adhered to.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement on the account in relation to improved processes, environmental targets, quality and standards, EHS, productivity & attrition.
  • Ensure all staff maintain safe working practices through implementation of Company, BICSs and

. Health & Safety standards & regulations.

  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure all necessary processes and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently.
  • Recruit, induct, train and motivate staff to achieve required standards of performance.
  • Monitor standards of cleaning across site through quality checks and retrain where necessary.
  • Attend off site & in-house training events
  • Liaise with Customers and Clients as required.
  • Must comply with IiP standards.
  • Ensure works carried out within budgeted operational hours.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate consumables, materials and services are maintained.
