Static Security Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a High School Academy in Moss Side, Manchester, M14 area.

Shift Pattern: On average 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 06.00 am - 14.00 pm.

Pay: £10.42 per hour.

Main Duties include managing access & egress / fire panels / completing patrols of the site and all buildings.

This role requires a criminal background check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

If you already have a DBS certificate, and are registered with the DBS Update Service, please inform our Onboarding Team of this.

If you are the successful candidate, we will ask for your permission to access the DBS Update Service and we may also need to view your disclosure certificate.

Person specification: To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A valid SIA Licence; or applied for
• A full five year checkable employment history;
• Industry experience and background;
• Willingness to be flexible in working hours;
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication;
• Able to produce effective reports and maintain effective records;;
• Customer focused;
• An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach;
• Ability to work in a team, but also on own initiative;
• Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills;
• IT skills

Responsibilities: Security will be required to:

• Ensuring all customer security requirements are met in line with site assignment instructions;
• Managing site access and egress
• Conducting regular site patrols to ensure customer premises, stock and staff are safe;
• Dealing with site staff and visitors in a professional manner;
• Assisting any conflict resolution;
• Completing any necessary paperwork and reporting’
• Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom;
• Supervise and control site access;
• Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder.
