Position Overview & Specifications
Kingston Veterinary Group are looking for a full time Animal Care Assistant (ACA) to join our dedicated and passionate teams working across six surgeries in East Yorkshire.
We as a group have four general practice surgeries, one dental practice and a fantastic Tier3 Hospital based around Hull and surrounding areas meaning no two days are the same.
The successful candidate will assist with the smooth running of the hospital and branches, assisting with patient handling, carrying out surgical cleaning, laboratory work whilst maintaining a hygienic environment.
Role Requirements;
- Experience of animal handling is desirable but full training will be given.
- Capable of using computer systems is desirable but training on our inhouse software will be given.
- 4 x 10hour shifts various working days Monday to Saturday – most shifts will cover either 10:00am – 8:00pm or 8:30am – 6:30pm each day.
Nurses in this role may be considered for training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse after two years working with us
(RVN Training qualifications required are 5 x GCSE’s grade C or above to include English Language, Biological Science and Maths)
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: £7.49 -£10.42 per hour
