If you have a passion for providing the best possible care to young people and working as part of a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you. You will be joining the School at an exciting time in our development as we enhance our health and wellbeing provision.
Kingswood School Health and Wellbeing Centre provides care from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and 12-5pm Saturday, with telephone on call support from 8.00am to 6.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Our team is made up of nurses, physiotherapists, an assistant, visiting GPs, counsellors and listening service.
We are looking to build our team with the introduction of this senior nurse position. You will support the Health and Wellbeing Lead in providing high quality health provision in school. Mentoring and offering senior clinical support will form part of the role.
We are offering up to 40-hours per week Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 3 weekends, with occasional infrequent overnight cover as required. The role is term-time, plus 10 days. We offer excellent conditions of service, including free meals and parking, and the hourly rate of pay is £19.50.
We are seeking someone who can work calmly, professionally, and at times independently, in a busy environment and be proactive in your approach. With a minimum of 5 years’ post registration, you will have experience in paediatrics and ideally 3 years’ experience in school nursing.
