Position Overview & Specifications

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Energy Consultants to join us at Kiwa Energy. Based in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham. We are experts in Consultancy, Training and Testing services in the fields of fuel, energy, carbon emissions and heating appliances. Our Energy Consultant will support the delivery of energy projects focused on reducing carbon emissions from the UK’s energy infrastructure, dwellings, transport, and industrial processes. About the role

  • Problem solving through the application of scientific principles and engineering best practice
  • Producing original work to increase the capacity of a small but highly effective team to deliver first-of-a-kind projects
  • Learning from and peer reviewing colleagues’ work
  • Tendering for and managing energy decarbonisation projects
  • Developing theories from observation, research and data analysis and proving or demonstrating these by physical experimentation



Do you have what it takes?

Are you a graduate with an engineering or science discipline (ideally Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied/Materials Science) who can show an active interest in decarbonisation and the renewables agenda?
Are you someone who can demonstrate a keen intelligence, work ethic, and inclusive approach towards working as part of a team?
Do you have experience of managing multiple project priorities, consultancy work and the ability to translate energy related concepts into clear, concise English to help resolve client problems?


What can you expect from us in return?
  • £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri (early finish on a Friday)
