Position Overview & Specifications
Salary £24,054 - £27,852 per annum | Permanent, Part time, 22.2 hours per week | Skelmersdale Library/Home working | Pro Rata
Based at Skelmersdale Library building but includes flexibility with home working and visiting homes.
This is an exciting role designed to:
- Support the Shared Lives Officers to maintain the provision of the Shared Lives Service under the guidance of a Shared Lives Officers direction.
- Support individuals to secure long/short term accommodation in the community with approved carers.
- Support Shared Lives Carers and respond to issues/queries, undertake monitoring visits and manage a caseload as determined by a line manager
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Provide support to individuals placed with approved carers to lead a fulfilling life within their community, to lead/contribute and review person centred support plans.
- Contribute to the assessment and approval of prospective carers, including taking part in marketing exercises.
- Work to service standards including Care Quality Commission requirements.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
