Position Overview & Specifications
The Lanchester Group has privately invested £8million in developing clean, renewable energy and heat generation for our offices and warehouses which greatly reduces our business’ carbon footprint. The job is based at our HQ in Annfield Plain, Durham, DH9 7XP.
Responsibilities could include the following;
Managing 11 MPAN connections to the electricity grid.
Managing 5 large gas grid connections.
Managing 7 water connections.
Managing 4 wind turbines generation 5 million kWh per year.
Managing the associated energy purchase and sale contracts.
Managing the ofgem requirements for the feed in Tariff.
Managing 4 MW of heat pumps over two sites.
Managing the ofgem requirements of Renewable Heat Incentive.
Making the FIT and RHI subsidy claims.
Gathering and managing the information for carbon footprint accounting.
Car Charging capability of group
Innovation in Energy- what should we be looking to add to the Lanchester Group?
Assist board in Energy decision making
Personal qualities;
Numerate with reasonable Excel skills
At least a basic understanding of the utilities market
A demonstrable interest in the practicalities of renewable energy
An understand of the objectives of Carbon Accounting
A practical and pragmatic approach to a rapidly changing UK energy market and can cope with a constant flow of problems and opportunities.
A Driving license (Lanchester Wines is a multi site operation)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
