Renewables Centre Manager

With sales in excess of £90m across 40+ sites and a team of 500 people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales’ largest independent builders’ merchant is looking to appoint a Renewables Centre Manager to lead and develop our renewables business across LBS & Total Plumbing.

We are looking for someone that can:

• 
  Understand and deliver whole home heating plans to customers utilising all product categories.
• Lead on the sales strategy and margin performance for the renewables business across the region.
• Nurture & foster partnering arrangements with Key Accounts, public sector housing, regional and national housebuilders, working closely with the Public Housing Sector sales manager.
• Formulate, implement, and drive sales plans.
• Report on renewables performance to the Sales Director, the LBS Board and wider business on a regular basis.
• Identify opportunities and deliver improvements to increase sales and profitability.
• Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidently carry out training on installation procedures for staff and customers and issue MSC certification.
• Set clear processes, procedures, and disciplines for the renewables business.

The Candidate:

• Be a dynamic and strategic leader with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness of the local/National contracting market and trends.
• Work well under pressure and be flexible in your approach.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate strongly at all levels and manage people.
• Have a sound knowledge of IT systems as well as sales information systems.
