Description

As an IT Support Apprentice, you'll report to the Infrastructure Manager alongside the Desktop and Infrastructure Engineers. As a member of a small team, you'll undertake a wide range of progressively more demanding administrative activities as they grow within the role, gaining exposure to all IT and security systems at Shore Capital.
  • Support internal users and maintain internal systems
  • Taking calls, logging support requests, and providing resolutions
  • Execution of day-to-day checks and maintenance tasks
  • Creation of support and “how to.” documentation
  • Assist with Desktop and Infrastructure projects
  • Provide a high level of support for VIPs
  • Help with some general running and support of the office
Entry requirements
  • You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
  • You will need to be within a commutable distance of the office location listed at the time of your application.
Training to be provided

To meet the requirements of the Level 3 ICT apprenticeship programme you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:
  • Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events
  • 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager
  • Observing and shadowing colleagues
  • Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
