Salary: Salary scale for post starting at £24,496 with annual increments up to £26,845 pro-rata for part-time

Hours: 37 hours per week. Part-time hours of 24 hrs per week or above will also be considered

Base location: UK home based (some travel will be required within

Leicestershire and Northamptonshire)

Employment type: Fixed term up to 31st March 2024 (possibility of continuation subject to funding)

We are seeking to recruit advisers with good IT skills to support clients to make and complete Universal Credit applications via multiple channels. You will need to be enthusiastic and have good communication skills to enable you to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning to provide help and support from making a claim up to their first payment.

Reporting to the Help to claim Team manager and be part of a small friendly team.

Full training for the role will be provided to support you to develop the skills to deliver advice over the phone and online

Qualifications/Skills Required

Skills required for this role are good IT knowledge with an ability to support clients in a sensitive manner. It is also essential to have a commitment to continuous professional development, including a willingness to develop knowledge and skills in advice topics.
