Are you passionate about Modern Foreign Languages and want to pass that passion and skill on to others? Are you an excellent teacher who understands the differing needs of adult learners in our communities? Do you have excellent co-ordination, quality improvement and communication skills? Can you manage a team of part-time staff based across the county? Then this role is for you.

About the Role

You will have responsibility for the development, co-ordination and delivery of learning activities across the curriculum, ensuring the implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement procedures for teaching and learning support staff.
You will teach post 16 adults including; course preparation, delivery and assessment of learning in accordance with OFSTED performance criteria. You will manage a small team of tutors, ensuing they deliver high quality teaching and learning and helping them to develop their practise so that our learners get the best learning experiences.
You will work as part of the engagement team to establish effective partnerships with local organisations and communities.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Have a nationally recognised teaching qualification
  • Have a subject qualification at the appropriate level (MFL)
  • Have experience of teaching adults / subject specific post 16 learning
  • Have experience of implementing QA/QI processes and procedures applicable to teaching and learning
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of resources to enhance teaching and learning pedagogy
  • Have knowledge of relevant current legislation and codes of practice
  • Have knowledge or experience of developing and coordinating learning activities

We also expect you to share our commitment to our valuesand will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
