You’ll join a team where curiosity is encouraged and collaboration across Product, Data, Delivery and Engineering is the norm.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>Our Salesforce Team:</h2> <p>You’ll join the Salesforce engineering team within Liberis’ wider Technology function. The team owns and evolves the Salesforce platform that underpins how Liberis acquires, onboards, and supports merchants and partners across 15 markets. They also work closely with other engineering development teams, product teams, and business functions such as commercial and operations to turn business needs into reliable, well-built Salesforce solutions.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>The role:</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll take ownership of complex Salesforce solutions from discovery through to production. You’ll work across both code and configuration, making informed technical decisions around architecture, automation, integrations, security, and maintainability.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You’ll be trusted to take ambiguous or complex requirements, work with stakeholders to understand the underlying problem, and shape a solution that is scalable and aligned with the wider Salesforce platform.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You’ll remain hands-on with Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and declarative tooling, while also acting as a technical point of reference for other members of the team. You’ll review code and designs, support colleagues through challenging technical problems, and help improve the engineering practices that underpin how Salesforce changes are developed and released.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Success in the role means consistently delivering high-quality solutions with a high degree of autonomy, making sound technical decisions, and having a positive impact on both the platform and the engineers around you.</p> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <h2>What you’ll get to do:</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools such as Flow, validation rules, and Salesforce configuration.</li> <li>Own complex features and technical changes end to end, from understanding the business problem and shaping the technical approach through to testing, release, and production support.</li> <li>Make and contribute to technical design decisions across areas such as object modelling, automation, security and sharing, integrations, and platform architecture.</li> <li>Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and other appropriate integration patterns.</li> <li>Identify technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Write high-quality, maintainable code and automated tests, and provide thoughtful code reviews that improve both the solution and the capability of the wider team.</li> <li>Troubleshoot complex production issues, investigate root causes, and help improve platform resilience and observability.</li> <li>Work closely with Product, Commercial, Operations, and other engineering teams to challenge requirements where appropriate and ensure solutions address the underlying business need.</li> <li>Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices across the team, including Git-based development, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, testing, release management, and documentation.</li> <li>Support and mentor other developers and admins, sharing knowledge and helping raise technical standards across the team.</li> <li>Proactively identify opportunities to simplify existing solutions, reduce technical debt, improve platform performance, and make Salesforce easier to maintain and evolve.</li> <li>Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making so that knowledge is shared effectively across the team.</li> </ul> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <h2>What we think you’ll need:</h2> <ul> <li>Proven success in a hands-on Salesforce development role, with experience delivering and owning complex Salesforce solutions.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.</li> <li>Strong Salesforce configuration skills, including Flow, object modelling, validation rules, security, and sharing.</li> <li>Experience making or contributing meaningfully to technical design and architecture decisions, rather than only implementing predefined solutions.</li> <li>Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, or similar integration patterns.</li> <li>Strong understanding of automated testing, code quality, and code review practices.</li> <li>Experience working with Git-based version control and modern Salesforce development and deployment practices.</li> <li>Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical or production issues.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with experience working directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand problems, challenge assumptions, and explain technical trade-offs clearly.</li> <li>A collaborative approach and experience supporting, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to other developers.</li> <li>Good judgement around when to use code versus declarative Salesforce functionality, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and platform health.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Next steps</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>If this opportunity feels like the right fit for your next career move, we’d love to hear from you!</p> <p>Even if you don’t meet every requirement, don’t hesitate to apply or reach out to Chess (Internal Recruiter) on<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span><a ---------- <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Career development is really important to us here at Liberis, with progression opportunities for both individual contributors and people managers.
