Position Overview & Specifications

Job Title: Test Analyst

Reporting to: Head of Product

Role summary:

As a Test Analyst, you’ll be responsible for testing Mobilityways suite of products, including Liftshare.com to ensure they meet the high standard of quality our customers expect. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to release, and will work closely with our development and support teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and expectations.

Main duties

  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to establish and confirm quality criteria, and work with the team to clarify use cases.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile systems
  • Define and implement appropriate test plans to verify functionality, usability, and performance of product.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites and scripts.
  • Document test results and ensure timely exit reporting within project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the development and validation teams to ensure testing keeps pace with development, and coordinate their activities accordingly.
  • Perform system testing for new product releases and system production changes.
  • Review and revise test plans and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the creation of training guides.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements to ensure that all requirements are testable and clearly defined
  • Participate in the initial development phases of the product to detect and resolve issues early in the development process.
  • Thoroughly test and vet products.
  • Set and meet deadlines for testing and reviewing products.
  • Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and issues.
  • Write a thorough analysis of the testing results and feed it back to the relevant teams.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with development and support teams
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies and tools.

Skills

Required

  • High level of observation and analytical ability.
  • Experience writing and presenting analytical reports.

Desirable

  • Experience of creating and manage automated System Test scripts.
  • Experience of writing unit, integration and/or Cypress tests
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Additional languages are a bonus).
