Position Overview & Specifications

Lightspeed is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to manage day-to-day initiatives for the UK region and lead SEO initiatives for EMEA.

In this position you will plan, execute, analyse, and optimise organic and paid media campaigns (Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Video) to drive sales and increase conversions from website visitors. A strong working knowledge of Google/Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Search Console, SEO software such as OnCrawl/Ahrefs/SEMRush and an ability to quickly understand and analyse data will allow you to succeed in this role.

In order to thrive in this role, you will need to be a strong team player and collaborate with the Growth Team and the other Marketing and Sales departments.


What you'll be responsible for

  • Be responsible and accountable for growing leads in the UK across various paid and organic channels
  • Apply local knowledge to execute and optimise campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
  • Work with other EMEA performance marketers to share, analyse, and optimise paid campaigns to maximise Return On Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies
  • Track, report, and analyse the performance of organic and paid media initiatives
  • Be the point person for the UK sales teams who you will work closely with to discuss opportunities to improve lead generation efforts and ultimately achieve targets.
  • Present weekly and monthly performance reports to the UK sales and marketing teams
  • Monitor trends, investigate irregularities in performance and troubleshoot ad issues that affect delivery, performance, tracking, and reporting
  • Work hand-in-hand with our SEO agency to plan and execute initiatives on the roadmap
  • Own your projects and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability

What you'll be bringing to the team

  • 3+ years of experience managing performance focused campaigns across search, social, video, display, referral partners and affiliates
  • Fluent English speaker with flawless writing skills
  • Experience with performance SEO and growth content
  • Understanding of basic technical SEO and searching for content opportunities (keyword research, competitor analysis, gap analysis)
  • Ability to write content brief to copywriters
  • Expert level proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook / Instagram Ads, Facebook Business Manager, DV360, YouTube Ads
  • Experience in website, business analytics, SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush/Ahrefs,OnCrawl/Screaming Frog, Looker, Google Optimise, Tableau, Salesforce or Hubspot
  • Certified in Google Ads and Google Analytics

Even better if you have, but not necessary

  • Lead generation experience in a B2B SAAS environment
  • Understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of marketing channel attribution models
  • Any additional European languages
