Position Overview & Specifications

Limbic Cinema is an award-winning multimedia creative studio. Specialising in immersive installations, light sculptures and interactive artworks for projection and performance.

Job Summary:

Limbic Cinema are looking for a part time, highly organised Studio Coordinator to provide administrative support to the team and the wider operations of the business.

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (Pro Rata) PAYE

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days) across Monday - Thursday

Job Description:

As our Studio Coordinator your role will include day to day administration and coordination of our internal processes and systems along with managing the schedules of the core team

The most important thing is that you are extremely organised, proactive, motivated and share our values for community, equality and the environment, and share our passion for storytelling, communicating and immersive digital technologies.

Person Specification

Key Responsibilities:

Operational:

  • Updating, improving and creating administrative systems and processes
  • Filing & project systems management
  • Day to day office administration
  • Responding to client enquiries
  • Updating company databases
  • Working with cloud based company systems (Teamgannt, Slack, Miro, G-Suite)
  • Social media - managing posts and correspondence across social media platforms.
  • Website - updating our website with new projects, assets and pre-written copy

On Project

  • Supporting the production team with project admin tasks incl. insurance docs, travel & accommodation bookings.
  • Updating project schedules
  • Coordinating team calendar & schedules
  • Marketing - compiling testimonials, sending press releases, images & copy

Key Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years in a similar or equivalent role
  • Motivated, proactive, responsible and used to working on own initiative
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills - experience with Google Suite - G-drive/G-sheets/G-docs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about digital media or live events and their ability to communicate and impact social issues
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential!) Skills and Experience

  • Marketing experience - e.g. social media posting, drafting of press releases
  • Experience with Teamgannt, Slack, Miro
  • Knowledge of video/animation production workflow
  • Knowledge and experience of the live events and/or creative multimedia sectors
