3rd Assistant Director (3rd AD)

We are excited to announce that we have a fantastic entry level opportunity for a 3rd Assistant Director to join our crew working in Liverpool. This is a brilliant role for anyone wanting to pursue a career in TV production, especially in floor management.

As a 3rd Assistant Director, you will be 1st Assistant Director’s right hand on-set. You will be responsible to coordinate extras, prepping and cueing them as well as directing them to required background. You will cover a full shoot in conjunction with the 2nd Assistant Director.

You will ensure that shoots are uninterrupted by locking off in different areas across the site, liaising with anyone this may affect, keep public members out of shoot ensuring smooth operation on each day of filming.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to think on your feet and adapt to an often changing, fast paced environment. The 3rd AD is the point of contact for all departments and cast with the floor, so we need a confident communicator and someone with a collaborative approach to their work.

If you have keen eye for detail and a passion for working in continuing drama, a team player with a real, ‘can do’ attitude, we want to hear from you. You will need to be personable and eager to learn.
