Role Overview & Responsibilities

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

A fantastic opportunity for a Laboratory or Process Technician to join LiNa Energy, a disruptive clean-tech battery technology company, whose ambition is to significantly contribute to achieving global net-zero targets.

ROLE SUMMARY

LiNa Energy is developing a novel battery technology to transform current energy storage solutions. This is a junior role within LiNa's laboratory. As a full-time Lab Technician at LiNa, you will support the development program by applying battery manufacturing processes and analytical equipment in our brand-new, state-of-the-art laboratory in central Lancaster. We place a strong emphasis on personal development, and there will be opportunities to develop your skills to the benefit of the company and yourself.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Laboratory experience with a relevant HNC, HND or similar.
  • Possess experience with mechanical lab equipment, such as furnaces, presses, metal processing etc
  • An understanding and experience of adherence to laboratory safe working principles, operational efficiency, and delivery
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to contribute to team discussions related to developing operational solutions, where appropriate and necessary
  • Capability to process and summarise data clearly, in addition to an organised and meticulous approach to data storage and handling
  • The successful candidate will bring a positive can-do attitude to the team and a willingness to take ownership of their work
