Position Overview & Specifications

Job Title: Housing Services Assistant

12 month fixed term contract to support with the expansion in the number of properties under management by Larkfield.

Larkfield Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord based in Greenock, Inverclyde. Larkfield Housing Association owns and manages 384 tenanted properties and provides management services to an additional 578 owners in the Larkfield area.

Larkfield HA joined the Link group in 2007 and through its partnership arrangements with Link, Larkfield HA also provides management services on Link’s behalf to tenants and owners across Inverclyde.

Larkfield works in partnership with Link to improve the services we provide to our customers, whilst expanding our community and housing support activity in the Inverclyde area.

The Role

Larkfield is currently seeking a passionate Housing Services Assistant who can provide expert advice and assistance to tenants and other valued customers on various aspects of housing management and maintenance. In addition, this role entails maintaining the Association’s rent accounting and maintenance administrative systems, ensuring seamless operations.

As a Housing Services Assistant, you will be responsible for handling enquiries and supporting the process related to allocations, rental income, void management, and lettings. Your expertise and support will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient housing operations.

Given the importance of organisation in this role, strong organisational skills are a must. Additionally, proficient IT skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and databases will be highly beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities.
